Do you actually know what your insurance covers?

Most Malaysians don't. Get a free, plain-language review of what you already have before you buy anything new.

Five covers. One order: yours.

Tap your life stage. The priorities rearrange themselves.

1Medical Card
Your #1 priority — one hospital bill can undo years of savings before wealth exists to protect.
2Critical Illness
Cheapest it will ever be — lock it in while healthy.
3Accident
Affordable and immediate — covers the everyday risks of an active life.
4Life & Disability
A safety net for whoever depends on you — even if that's just your parents for now.
5Savings & Legacy
Optional for now — protection first, accumulation after.

This is the same framework I use in every appointment. It's not a product list, it's an order of operations.

The gap is bigger than most people think

45%
of Malaysians have no life coverage at all
<1 year
of income protected, on average: RM50,000 coverage against RM94,800 income
RM5,566
average monthly household expenses a family must keep paying, no matter what

Process, not pitch

How I work

Every client goes through the same five steps, in this order, at your pace.

STEP 1
Review
We organize what you already have, free, in plain language.
STEP 2
Reveal
Your own numbers show your gap: not my opinion, your arithmetic.
STEP 3
Prioritize
Seven tiers, one starting point. You never solve everything at once.
STEP 4
One Step
A single, affordable first move, sized to what's comfortable monthly.
STEP 5
Review Yearly
Life changes. Your plan gets rechecked every year, on me.

The Free Policy Review

Bring whatever policies you have, from any insurer. I'll organize them into one clear summary you can actually understand.

What you have

Every policy in one table: coverage, premiums, and when each one ends.

What it actually covers

The plain-language translation, including the fine print that matters at claim time.

What's worth discussing

Honest observations, including "your coverage is fine, keep it" when that's the truth.

Why free? Because most people who see their coverage clearly become clients eventually. And the ones who don't still leave better informed. That's the whole model.

Self-serve, no signup

Behind the practice

About Ryan

Ryan Quek, AIA Life Planner, Johor Bahru

Two jobs, one goal: keep your future protected, and help you grow your wealth through smart property moves. 🏠☂️

Here's the real talk: I come from a corporate governance background at a Singapore-listed company, with an MBA in my back pocket 🎓. That means a proper, numbers-driven approach, not agak-agak guesswork. But I keep things simple and honest, the way any good chat over kopi should be. ☕

Whether we're sorting out your protection plan or sizing up your next property investment, I'm genuinely happy to help: no pressure, no hard-sell, just straight talk. Let's work towards your goals together, one clear step at a time. 🤝

Asked honestly, answered honestly

Before you message me

No catch: the review is genuinely free and ends with a summary you keep, whatever you decide. Some people become clients afterward, many don't, and both outcomes are fine. An informed person is good for this industry.
No, and this one's a hard rule, not a courtesy. I don't recommend replacing any policy unless I can show you specifically what you'd lose, what you'd gain, and why it genuinely serves you, in writing. Most reviews end with "keep what you have."
Then you're already ahead of most people. Think of this as a second opinion: if your current coverage is right, I'll be the first to say so, and you lose nothing but an hour.
Healthy and young is exactly when it's cheapest and easiest to arrange: premiums are priced on the you of today, not the you of someday. Waiting rarely makes it cheaper; it only makes it harder.
They're a real foundation, but they're the floor, not the whole house. EPF is your own retirement savings withdrawn early, and SOCSO's payouts are capped well below most household budgets. Worth checking your actual numbers against your actual expenses.
I'm dual-licensed: real estate (IQI, JB–Singapore corridor) and life insurance (AIA). It means when you're buying a property, the protection conversation happens at the right time, with one person who understands both sides.
It's a question I hear a lot, and the honest answer starts somewhere unexpected: the most important protection for your child is yours. If anything happens to the parent paying the premiums and the bills, that's the real risk to a child's future. So we secure the payor first. After that, children's plans do exist, and starting early has real advantages (they're never cheaper or easier to insure than today). Bring it up in your free review and we'll look at the right order for your family.
I'll reply personally, usually the same day. We'll find a time that works, you bring (or photograph) whatever policies you have, and the review takes about an hour. No preparation needed beyond that.

One conversation. Zero obligation.

The review is free either way: the only cost of finding out is an hour.
